A non refundable deposit of 10% will be taken by Inns of Costa Rica at the time of confirming your reservation. The balance of full prepayment is required at this hotel. Minimum Stay: between May 1 and July 15, 3 consecutive nights are required. Gaia Hotel and Reserve is in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. This luxury boutique 5 star hotel and resort achieves a perfect blend of modern amenities and the natural scenery of the coastal forest. It has well equipped terraced suites and villas with view of lush and pristine wilderness. There is an on-site restaurant, spa, gym, and pool, plus the availability of a myriad of personal services. Note that this is a new property and the clubhouse will not be completed until July 2006 (so the gym is not yet available). Spa services are in your own room and there is 24 hour room service from the restaurant. The hotel sits on a vast tract of lowland coastal forest, teeming with spectacular and rare wildlife. Originally serving as the site of Jardín Gaia, a center for native orchids conservation and endangered wildlife rehabilitation, today the land remains set aside as a refuge for these many precious species. The Gaia Reserve is Costa Rica in its most pristine state. It is where native species thrive, their future secured by the commitment of the Gaia Hotel and Reserve project.
Family Information
Children 16 years and older are welcome. Adult families can be accommodated in the hotel's 2 bedroom Villa (2 king beds in separate rooms).There is also option to connect 2 Suites with each have 1 king size bed and 1 sofabed.
Meal Information
La Luna Restaurant: International food infused with local ingredients and they serve a vegetarian menu also. La LUna is open everyday 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Pool Bar also has food and drink service from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Notes Transportation in the Manuel Antonio area : GAIA provides van service from the hotel to Manuel Antonio National Park, the town of Quepos and points of interest along the 7 kilometer (4 1/3 miles) road that connect the two. (The beach is located adjacent to the National Park.). If a personal car is your preference after arriving at GAIA, you can rent a car from Adobe, Alamo, Economy or Payless. Again, our Travel Help Desk will be happy to make these arrangements.

Cancellation Policy:
A non-refundable deposit of 10% will be taken by Inns en Route upon confirming reservation. In Peak Season the hotel requires a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of making reservation and the balance is due 3 months before arrival date. Full payment is due if reservation is made less than 3 months prior to reservation date and is non-refundable unless all nights are resold. Due to these strict policies, we highly recommend taking travel insurance in case of unforeseen cancellation. Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to arrival in Green and High Season will receive the remainder of their hotel deposit as a refund less any charges from the credit card company. Reservations cancelled within 30 days for High or Green Season, and no shows or early checkouts in any Season are non-refundable (i.e. the full amount will be retained by the hotel).
