Inns en Route Inc. (
Visit Website) began offering small special hotels in Spain to clients in 1999. Our much-travelled founders were frustrated at the lack of a comprehensive website that showcased some of the wonderful, small and charming inns in the Spanish countryside and coasts that only Spaniards seemed to know about. Our clients asked us to find similar small and special inns in other countries, one of which is beautiful Costa Rica. We now offer this type of accommodation in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Morocco, Costa Rica and Argentina.
Our Service
Our reputation is only as good as the hotels which we represent and the efficient service we provide. We personally review each hotel on our site and constantly monitor client feedback to ensure continuing quality. In addition to our hotel listings, we provide a fast and efficient reservations service with
telephone numbers and email addresses so that you can benefit from the knowledge of our well-travelled staff.

How do I use your service?
You can
phone or email us your specific questions, or you can browse our selection of hotels and enquire about those that interest you.
How much does it cost to use your service?
There is no cost (hidden or additional) to use our service - you pay the same rate, or less, as if you contacted the hotel direct.
How long does it take once I make an enquiry?
We strive to answer within a few hours. Costa Rican hotels tend to take a little longer to respond, however we normally will have an answer for you the day of your enquiry. If you have made an enquiry and haven't heard from us in 24 hours, please do contact us again as we do use spam filters and in some situations we may have been unable to contact you.
Are there deposits? What if I cancel?
Inns en Route requires a 10% nonrefundable deposit when making a reservation. Some of our inns require additional deposits or signed fax forms. If a hotel deposit is required, this is clearly indicated in the hotel deposit policy and notes section. Each hotel sets its own cancellation policy, and this is displayed on its page. Cancellations are subject to this policy and are charged by the hotel direct.
Do I need a voucher? Who do I pay?
We will issue a receipt for the 10% deposit and this should be given to the hotel on arrival and it will be deducted from your final bill. You will pay the balance at checkout. For those hotels who do require full prepayment, we will issue you a voucher.
