Inns of Costa Rica is delighted to present a selection of stylish small hotels, inns and resorts in the cities, mountains, rainforests and on the beaches of this marvelous country. With its uncrowded beaches, fiery volcanoes and jungles full of exotic flora and fauna, it is truly full tropicalia. But the best feature is the Costa Rican people, who are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Blessed with the second highest standard of living in Latin America, they are industrious, cheerful and well-mannered and it is unlikely that you will be harrassed or given the 'hard-sell' anywhere you go. In general, the country attracts independent travellers who prefer quiet pleasures in a natural, uncrowded environment. Most are independently owned and family operated and conveniently located in the most desirable areas.
